Trevalgan Touring Park

Trevalgan Touring Park is an award-winning five-star camping and touring park set among open farmland and rolling countryside, around two miles from St Ives in West Cornwall. With coastal and countryside views and the South West Coast Path within walking distance, it offers a well-equipped base for campervan and motorhome owners looking to explore Cornwall’s beaches, walking routes and attractions.

The park offers a choice of grass and hardstanding pitches, including options with 16-amp electric hook-up, fresh water connections and grey-water drainage. Some pitches are sheltered by hedges on three sides, providing extra privacy. Non-serviced pitches are also available for visitors who prefer a simpler stay. The maximum permitted unit size is eight metres, including guy ropes, and American-style motorhomes, lorries, lorry conversions and commercial vehicles are not accepted.

Facilities are a major attraction at Trevalgan. The modern washrooms feature underfloor heating, hot showers, family bathrooms and an accessible shower room. Guests can also use the laundry, indoor washing-up sinks, wetsuit wash, motorhome service area and chemical toilet disposal points. The on-site shop stocks camping essentials and local produce, with fresh baguettes and pastries available to order each morning. Wi-Fi is available, and a regular bus service departs from the campsite entrance for convenient trips into St Ives.

Families have plenty to keep them occupied, including a large children's play area, sports space and games room with pool, table tennis and table football. Dogs are welcome on designated pitches, with an enclosed exercise area on site, although some pitches are strictly dog-free. The park operates a family-and-couples-only policy, making it important to check the booking conditions if travelling as a group.

St Ives is close by for its sandy beaches, harbour, independent shops, restaurants and art galleries. The surrounding Penwith peninsula offers scenic coastal walks and easy access to attractions including Land’s End, the Minack Theatre and St Michael’s Mount. With high-quality facilities, a choice of touring pitches and convenient public transport, Trevalgan Touring Park is a strong option for campervan travellers wanting to explore West Cornwall without relying on their vehicle for every trip.
