The Campervan Factory is a specialist Volkswagen campervan conversion company based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Established in 2009, the business focuses on VW Transporter T5 and T6 conversions, combining practical layouts, durable materials and carefully selected components to create comfortable campervans for weekends away and longer touring holidays.
Customers can choose a fully converted campervan or supply their own vehicle for conversion. Standard builds include an elevating roof with sleeping space, tinted windows, thermal insulation, carpet lining, a fitted kitchen, compressor fridge, gas hob and sink, a leisure battery, interior lighting and a mains electrical hookup. A sliding seat-and-bed system with seatbelts and storage provides additional sleeping and passenger-carrying flexibility.
The company also offers optional upgrades such as diesel heating, swivel seats, upgraded roof-bed systems, awning rails, parking sensors, tow bars and bike racks. For customers who have not yet found a suitable van, The Campervan Factory provides a vehicle-sourcing service and can help tailor the specification before the conversion begins.
Completed campervans are available to buy, and customers benefit from a stated 24-month workmanship warranty, a minimum three-month mechanical warranty and after-sales support. The company also offers finance introductions through its appointed finance partner.
