The Happy Campervan is a female-led campervan conversion company based in Etwall, Derbyshire, offering bespoke full and part conversions for a range of popular van models. Established in 2020, the team works with customers to create practical, comfortable campervans tailored to their needs, whether starting with an empty panel van or improving an existing conversion.
Services include pop-top roof and window installation, sound deadening, insulation, carpet lining, flooring, custom furniture and kitchen units, campervan beds and seating, and interior electrical systems. The company can also install leisure batteries, split charging, electric hook-up, solar panels, lighting and diesel heaters, as well as awning rails and wind-out awnings. Its in-house CNC-produced furniture is designed with safety in mind, and the company states that it fits M1 crash-tested beds and furniture units.
The Happy Campervan works with vehicles including Volkswagen Transporters, Ford Transit Customs, Vauxhall Vivaro, Renault Trafic and VW Caddy Maxi models. It welcomes both complete builds and smaller upgrades to partially converted vans, with advice available to help customers plan a conversion around their budget and intended use.
